Lunch – Wed. Sep 16, 2015 – Unit-testing Angular Applications

The next St. Louis Angular lunch will be Wednesday, Sep. 16, 2015, at noon.

Angular was designed from the start to be amenable to automated unit testing, but many Angular developers don’t make much use of it yet. In this talk, Mark will reintroduce unit testing of Angular applications using the Karma test runner, then explain and demonstrate the differences between the most commonly used tools, Jasmine versus Mocha with Chai and Sinon. It should be a great talk, with information of value to both Angular beginners and experienced experts.

Mark Katerberg, a software developer in the St. Louis area

1630 Des Peres Road – one building north of the Oasis Digital office location.

Oasis Digital will supply the meeting space, pizza, and projector.

Please RSVP to the mailing list.  It is important to know the amount of people to buy pizza for and prepare the room for.

Extra bonus nerdery!

The main talk above will wrap up in time for attendees to leave by 1 PM; but if you are able to stay longer, please stick around for an extra bonus talk or two from someone at Oasis Digital. Since we already have the room, video, etc. set up, we will be experimentally trying out another talk topic or two. The topics are to be determined, but will likely relate to JavaScript and/or Angular.
